Trying to deal with all the hoops that this involves, trying
hard to get her transferred to UAMS. We have the flight people lined
up. Need prayers for two things: weather to get better here and the
path to L.R. and for a bed to open up at the Neuro ICU at UAMS. We have
people working on things both here and in L.R. Laura is no better and is
actually worse in some ways. She is fighting. She still has not
opened her eyes and spoken, however, she moves alot on her right side and moans
and groans in pain and discomfort. It's important for us to go back to
see her during the visitation hours, which are very strict here, but it tears
us up to see her in this condition. Please pray also that she will
survive the airlift once it can happen.
Miles and Trela
Things have not gone well here. Laura's condition is
the same, critical/life threatening. We are getting the ball
rolling toward getting her air lifted to UAMS. Please pray that this will
happen and that Laura survives the trip to Little Rock. She MUST get back
to HER doctors who know her history. We are losing ground here and must
get her to UAMS.

Laura Cook remains in the ICU at LSU Medical Center in
Shreveport. She is conscious and responsive, waiting to have an EEG and MRI
before decisions are made about keeping her there or transporting her back here
to UAMS. Miles is on the way to Shreveport in his car.
